Flite supplements ATM services portfolio with mobile RDC solution

Flite Banking Centers LLC is expanding from its roots in ATM-based products and services into the realm of mobile banking solutions with a new customizable mobile app called SnapCheck.

Flite Banking Centers LLC is expanding from its roots in ATM-based products and services into the realm of mobile banking solutions with a new customizable mobile app called SnapCheck.

The Houston-based IAD’s SnapCheck service manages the Check 21-compliant packaging and consolidation of deposits, and then delivers the required images and files directly to the FI’s existing item processing platform.

The app can be customized for subscribing institutions to reflect the look and feel of their own brand, creating a user experience consistent with other banking services provided by the customer's FI.

“Mobile check deposit is an increasingly important technology for financial institutions to offer their customers," Flite President Michael Villarreal said. "Due to high costs and significant IT resources, mobile deposit services are primarily being offered by large financial institutions. SnapCheck was designed to be a cost-effective solution to help banks and credit unions of all sizes deliver this smartphone deposit technology as economically and efficiently as possible.”
