Brookfield, Wis.-based Fiserv Inc., a provider of financial services technology solutions, has announced the selection of a location in Alpharetta, Ga., to house its Atlanta-area operations. The move will consolidate six office locations in the Atlanta metro into one central workplace for the company's 2,000 area employees.

The Alpharetta campus, which comprises two adjoining buildings, was selected for its desirable location as well as its ability to accommodate existing needs and continued growth, the company said in a news release.

The buildings will be occupied in phases, with employees expected to move from existing offices to the new location during 2015 and 2016.

"[W]e have completed a number of acquisitions in the Atlanta area, which is a key technology center for Fiserv," said Fiserv president and CEO Jeff Yabuki. "We are excited to bring our associates together in a collaborative and innovative environment supported by the latest workplace technology."

"Fiserv is bringing nearly 2,000 existing jobs to Alpharetta, and the company has committed to hire a significant number of additional associates as they establish a presence in our city," said Alpharetta mayor David Belle Isle.
