Finland burger chain uses Seamless mobile app for payment and loyalty

Consumers who visit select Hesburger locations in Finland can now use a mobile app from Seamless to pay for their order, according to a joint statement from the companies.

SEQR is a mobile app from Seamless that is now live in three countries with Finland as the latest market thanks to the Hesburger partnership. Finland is also the first country to have access to SEQR for Windows Phone. The app is also available in the Apple App Store and Google Play.

"Being able to offer a complete solution plays a strategically important role for our international expansion," Peter Fredell, CEO of Seamless, said in a statement. "The guests have already found their way to the mobile phone, and so we become a natural part of the shopping experience with payment, offers and connection to loyalty programs through one single app."

There are 280 Hesburger restaurants in Finland and SEQR acceptance is being launched in 120 locations, according to a press release. Hesburger plans to roll out SEQR to all locations by the end of the year.
