Evernote expands mobile checkout capabilities in China

Ayden will provide Alipay's new one-click service within the note-taking app.

Adyen, a global payments product provider, Monday announced it has partnered with note-taking app Evernote to launch Alipay's new mobile-optimized checkout for Evernote's user base in China, according to a press release.

Adyen said in the announcement the launch enables Evernote's mobile customers to pay with Alipay through a streamlined, mobile-optimized flow. The company also is implementing Alipay’s one-click mobile checkout for Evernote's recurring users.

"After Adyen optimized our implementation of Alipay's mobile checkout, our customers' mobile experience has significantly improved, and we expect to see a corresponding increase in conversions, customer satisfaction and brand affinity," Linda Kozlowski, vice president of worldwide operations for Evernote, said in a statement. "Adyen continues to provide us with the most advanced payment technology, which has been instrumental in Evernote's growth internationally."

In addition to China, Adyen has partnered with Evernote in over 40 countries around the world.
