El Paso utility company gets mobile bill payment courtesy of Tio Networks
Bill payment company TIO Networks Corp. has announced that it's helping another local utility with a mobile bill payment app. This time it's El Paso Electric of El Paso, Texas.
The app developed by TIO lets 380,000 El Paso Electric customers in west Texas and southern New Mexico pay their bills using iPhones, iPads and Android smartphones and tablets. The program includes support for payments via credit, debit and ACH to give customers the greatest flexibility with their payment options, TIO said.
The app also offers customers the convenience of expedited service, providing same-day processing of payments made through the app.
"El Paso Electric is always looking for ways to improve customer service," said Kerry Lore, vice president of customer care at El Paso Electric. "That's why we're very pleased to partner with TIO to offer our customers a payment option that is quick and convenient."
