Custom Business Solutions give NFC mobile payments a boost

The company, a provider of point-of-sale and operations systems for the hospitality industry, announced Apple Pay and Google Wallet connectivity for its NorthStar Order Entry OmniChannel ordering system.

Custom Business Solutions, a provider of point-of-sale and operations systems for the hospitality industry, this past week announced Apple Pay and Google Wallet connectivity for its NorthStar Order Entry OmniChannel ordering system, according to a press release.

NorthStar claims that its Order Entry product is the only tablet-based ordering software that combines multiple ordering modes in one easy-to-use interface. Now hospitality professionals can maximize the speed and efficiency of their business with five different ways to take orders, all managed from the cloud, according to the announcement.

“Since Apple Pay was first introduced, we’ve seen tremendous consumer interest in this convenient option," Art Julian, CEO of Custom Business Solutions, said in a statement. "Interest in Google Wallet is also growing. Adding this feature to NorthStar Order Entry provides an enhanced, secure experience for our customers’ guests."

Order Entry offers certification with the VeriFone VX805 contactless PIN pad that features NFC technology to further modernize a system with secure point-to-point encryption, providing the highest level of payment protection for guests.

Apple Pay and Google Wallet connectivity are automatically included in new releases of NorthStar Order Entry and can be upgraded by contacting Custom Business Solutions, according to the announcement.
