CSI tokenization to support payments via Android Pay

Android tokenization capability means that CSI customers can now fully participate with the major mobile wallet schemes, the company says.

Computer Services Inc., a provider of end-to-end financial technology solutions, now offers tokenization support capabilities that allow for participation in the recently announced Android Pay payment service.

According to a company press release, this will allow CSI customers to fully participate with all leading mobile wallet providers (i.e., Apple Pay and Android Pay), by substituting a digital payment token for the consumer's personal account number.

With a growing number of consumers using mobile devices for payments, banks can leverage CSI's tokenization abilities to broaden their customer base, CSI said.

"Consumers are moving more and more toward mobile-based payments, and financial institutions must have programs in place that enable them to facilitate these transactions seamlessly," said CSI CEO Steve Powless.

CSI mobile card services also include card on-off functionality, mobile remote deposit capture, strong authentication programs, and advanced card monitoring services, the release said.
