Chick-fil-A adds mobile payment app in Ohio markets

Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio, area can now pay for their meals through their smartphone. The chain has rolled out a new mobile payment system in this market, according to Fox 19 News.

The free app is available on Android and iOS platforms. Customers who download the app can then register for an account and load funds using their credit card information. To pay for a meal, they tap the “pay” button and scan a QR code at the register.

Chick-fil-A is in the process of rolling out its mobile payments platform nationally after a successful test in two North Carolina markets earlier this year.

From the story:

"Mobile Payment gives customers a convenient, personalized way to interact with Chick-fil-A and it helps us customize their experience and care for them personally,” Michael Lage, Chick-fil-A’s manager of mobile strategy.
