Bindo, a retail technology company with an iPad POS system for merchants, this week announced the release of its integrated API solution. The technology will allow developers to take advantage of Bindo's systems and expand upon them, according to a company release.  

"The Bindo API opens up a world of possibilities to third-party system developers and merchants looking for a POS system capable of greater integrations," Brad Lauster, co-founder of Bindo, said in a statement.

Using the Bindo API, developers will be able to build custom applications such as external loyalty programs, third-party e-commerce plug-ins, sales dashboards and integrated back-end ERP systems. Bindo API taps into the power of Bindo's cloud server and offers developers access to the same framework as the POS screen and the innovative Dashboard system, according to the release.
