Vending kiosk manufacturer AVT Inc. has launched a new mobile payment system developed by PayRange, according to AVT press release.

To demonstrate the system's capabilities, AVT released a video showing a child using the system. In order to use it, customers simply type in what product they want and then they go to the mobile pay app on their phones and swipe the screen to complete the purchase.

"Our automated systems with integrated mobile payments make it convenient for parents that want to give their children the ability to get nutritious snacks and beverages at school or at an after-school program," AVT President Wayne Salvino said in the release. "Instead of giving kids cash or credit cards, parents can let their children use their cellphones to pay for snacks, lunches and refreshments."
