Apple Pay coming to more countries
The mobile payment scheme is set to go live in Australia and Canada.
Apple will team with American Express to bring Apple Pay to selected markets outside the U.S., including Australia and Canada.
Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed the company's plans Wednesday during a fourth quarter earnings call.
Apple Pay also is set to debut in Hong Kong, Singapore and Spain some time next year.
Cook said during the call that Apple Pay is experiencing double-digit growth but did not reveal any hard numbers to support his claim.
