Aeromexico intros new kiosks, website

Aeromexico, a global airport in Mexico, has deployed new airport kiosks along with a new website and mobile app. The airport is attempting to develop a more personalized passenger experience, according to a press release.

Travelers can use the airport kiosks to check-in and pay for seat selection and extra baggage. The kiosks come with a document scanner, card reader and a printer for boarding passes and bag tags. In the future, users will also be able to check their bags, request upgrades to their flight package, or customize their route at the kiosk, according to the release.

Aeromexico's website is designed to work on all mobile devices and to offer an easier booking and check-in process. In addition to the website, Aeromexico's mobile app, which is set to roll out in late 2016, will enable travelers to access their loyalty program accounts and provide "innovative check-in flows," according to the release.

"The updated technology tools that we provide for our customers reflect the constant transformation and modernization plans taking place at Aeromexico," Anko Van der Werff, chief revenue officer at Aeromexico, said in the release.
