Mobile wallet provider C-SAM Inc. is partnering with Dai Nippon Printing Co. Ltd. to expand their global mobile services agreement across Asia. Through the agreement, C-SAM's mobile transaction platform will be bundled with DNP's trusted service manager solution, smart card offerings, and NFC technologies for use by Japanese service providers who serve the Asia-Pacific region, the companies said. This will extend the MTP-enabled TSM solution to more than 30 countries.
"Through co-marketing in Asia-Pacific market by C-SAM and DNP, we expect that our Japanese corporate customers, C-SAM, and DNP will succeed together to build a new relationship to expand into Asia-Pacific market," said Sakae Hikita, managing director of DNP.
C-SAM provides a mobile wallet tool to a number of service providers, including the Isis product in the U.S. Isis is the mobile payment joint venture formed between Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile USA and AT&T Mobility. It recently launched pilot programs in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Austin, Texas.
The C-SAM/DNP combined solution is designed to provide a scalable and flexible mobile wallet technology for third party providers such as mobile network operators, retailers and financial institutions to offer mobile payment, coupons and loyalty programs.

"We look forward to deepening our collaboration with DNP, further strengthening DNP's portfolio of applications and services, and growing DNP's market leadership position throughout the Asia-Pacific region."
