Intuit Inc. launched several new products for small businesses and consumers at an event this week, including some new mobile banking and payment services.
Among the mobile financial services tools being announced by Intuit are:
- Mobile Banking with Purchase Rewards – an online and mobile banking tool that lets consumers bank, shop and save while on the go. Customers are offered discounts from merchants by merchants they already know, without having to deal with the hassle of coupons.
- Weave – a mobile app for organizing daily activities, expenses and income on a mobile device.
- MyBizTracker - a mobile app for small businesses in the U.K. designed to help them keep track of finances via a smartphone. Features include the ability to track income, expenses and balances; photo capture invoices, bills and receipts; and tax deadline reminders.
In addition, Inuit announced upgrades to its GoPayment mobile POS solution. The app now includes GPS functionality to accurately calculate state and local taxes on purchases processed through the app.
